PARABOLIČNI MODEL PRIČE U SREĆNOM SIROMAHU TIODORA ROSIĆA

Abstract

The paper analyses parabolic-allegorical character of Tiodor Rosić’s collection of stories Srećni siromah, with special emphasis on the moral of the stories, aphoristic way of expression and moral qualities of the main characters. The stories offer universal truths of life and ethical messages, which makes them comparable with fables where the main characters, unlike Rosić’s, are animals. Rosić’s style is sublime and clear, appropriate to the form of a parable. However, parable in Rosić’s stories is not just a matter of style, it is a model of narration.
