Title: Modeling of Mechanical Behaviour of Fiber Reinforced Composites
Authors: Grujovic, Nenad
Slavkovic, Vukasin
Issue Date: 2021
Abstract: Throughout the development of the civilization, there was a growing need for materials that, due to reduced consumption, have low weight and good mechanical properties, for instance, strength and sti_ness, and with satis_ed thermal properties. According to the all above mentioned, increasing interest and use of composite materials is recorded. To provide the best possible insight into the characteristics, the authors presented the de_nition and classi_cation of composite materials observing the most commonly used. Consequently, the Fiber Reinforced Composites (FRC), the materials used in many weight-critical components, are presented according to the different fiber and matrix properties of materials, within temperature range and thermal stability.
