Назив: | Hitrou sindrom kao metafora liminalnosti u romanu Besnilo Borislava Pekića |
Аутори: | Lojanica, Marija |
Датум издавања: | 2011 |
Сажетак: | By analyzing the use-value of the term liminality within the field of humanities, the paper offers a critical reexamination of Turner’s anthropological theory concerning the behavior of human subjects and societies in the liminal stage of transition process. Further revalorization of the mentioned theory from the viewpoint of Foucault’s, Virilio’s and Baudrillard’s philosophical hypotheses, opens up the possibility to reinterpret Borislav Pekić’s novel Besnilo within the context of contemporary world’s idiosyncrasies governed by the logics and politics of mondialisation. Hence, the paper attempts to offer an answer to the question whether Pekić’s literary representation of Heathrow International Airport could function as a metaphor for acute destabilization of individual, collective and global identity |
