Abstract

In this paper we have presented scientific researches and books whose main focus of study is the social network Twitter. We highlighted papers and books that explore the relationship of Twitter and linguistics (linguistic studies), corpus analysis, discourse analysis, didactics, literature, and the academic community. While presenting the main theme of each individual work, we have emphasized the basic characteristics of the study, results, limitations and implications for future studies.
