IDIOLEKT DOBRILA NENADIĆA U KONTEKSTU NOVIJIH LINGVOSTILISTIČKIH ISTRAŽIVANjA SRPSKE PROZE

Abstract

On the corpus of 18 linguistic papers dealing with certain aspects of the language and style of Nenadić’s novels, the present study reviews the achievements of linguistic research on the language and style of Nenadić’s novels. An attempt is made to propose a concept for the linguistic and stylistic description and interpretation of Nenadić’s idiolect, referencing to the previous results, and in the context of recent linguistic and stylistic research of Serbian prose. Since, from the thematic aspect, the works of this writer relate to Serbian medieval history, Serbian modern history, as well as the life in today’s Serbian small towns, it is expected that the writer use different linguistic and stylistic resources, in accordance with the theme of the novel. Thus, harmonisation of the linguistic and stylistic description and interpretation of Nenadić’s prose with the theoretical-methodological concept of integral stylistics was performed in the current paper.
