Сажетак:	This paper presents an analysis of a fragment of Scythinus' work On Nature, in the context of the following aspects: 1. intertextual relationships between Scythinus and the Corpus Hermeticum (influences, applications, and poetic modifications); 2. Hermetic philosophy as Heraclitus' and Scythinus’ common ideological foundation; 3. the influence of Heraclitus' philosophy on Scythinus, as well as Scythinus' original poetic transformation; 4. Scythinus' contribution to the development of reflective poetry. In this unification of poetry, mysticism, and philosophy, Scythinus' act of contemplating about the secrets of time in cosmic harmony is predominant. Scythinus’ hermetic poetic constructions hide coded truths about the universe, nature, and humanity.
