Сажетак: | This paper examines the selection of materials for machine parts subjected to high friction and wear (tribologically loaded components). Three main classes of engineering materials metals, polymers, and ceramics are analyzed in terms of tribological properties such as hardness, coefficient of friction, and wear resistance. The importance of these properties for material performance under frictional conditions is discussed. A specific example is used to illustrate the process of selecting an optimal material based on tribological requirements. |
