PRINCIP „VREDNOST ZA NOVAC“ – STRUKTURA I IZAZOVI DIGITALIZACIJE

Abstract

Modern forms of budget planning in national public finance systems are based on unquestionable respect for the principle of "value for money", which could be seen as a sublimated requirement for economy, efficiency and effectiveness of public spending. In this paper, the author points out the theoretical essence of all structural components of the concept of "value for money", as well as the importance that each of them has in the process of effective financial planning. The author pays special attention to ways to contribute to more effective decision-making in national budget planning systems by exploiting the advantages of the digital environment.
