The founder of the institute of dentistry, kragujevac - dr momir sokolovic

Many exceptional individuals have given significant contribution to the rapid development of the dentistry, beside the newly founded Faculty of Dentistry in Belgrade (1948). One of these is Dr Momir Sokolovic, a first-class expert, a visionary and a very brave man. By his justified and decisive attitude he succeeded to separate the Dentistry service from the National Institute of Health and through this the first independent and self-sustaining institution of this profile in Serbia was formed (1957). Very soon, he created the conditions for obtaining the status of the Policlinic and in this way he established the foundations of the Institute of Dentistry, Kragujevac.
