dc.description.abstract© 2017 IEEE. Coherent receivers require carrier synchronization of a received signal, in order to achieve better demodulation characteristics then non-coherent receivers. Carrier synchronization of IEEE 802.15.4 signal is performed using preamble transmitted at beginning of packet. The traditional solution employs adjustment of passband frequency using Costas Loop circuitry. Software-defined radio requires carrier synchronization to be performed in baseband after demodulation. This paper represents the solution of phase synchronization for IEEE 802.15.4 coherent receiver on software defined radio.-
