Bibliotheca Porticus Octaviae, was one of the three public libraries that have been open in the time of the Augustus. In the work some of the questions that still remain unanswered will be analyzed, Some of those questions are: by whom the library has been built, to who it was dedicated and who made that dedication, and where it was located. In addition, we analyze questions of the library's collection, how it's been improved and enlarged and library's internal organization necessary for the providing of the services.en_US
