In this paper we have focused on making a cheap and simple physical pendulum, which is, together with the developed application, a very useful teaching tool in physics classes. We believe that this device together with the application is a very good demonstration instrument that will bring students closer to the physical processes and real-time changes of different physical parameters of damping oscillations. This enables students to become familiar with the laws of pendulum motion in a very effective and visually interesting manner. The experiment demonstrated several important processes during oscillatory motion. The real-time diagrams generated by the application leave many opportunities for professors to discuss and draw various conclusions with their students about the observed phenomena.-
