dc.description.abstractThe Temple of Peace (Templum Pacis) library was one of the many public libraries whose services were available to the citizens of Rome. By analyzing the Temple of Peace, where the library was placed the author will point on the location of the library, its architectural design, book fund, the ways the fund has been renewed and also its further destiny after the damage caused by fire, as well as the purpose of the Temple of Peace itself.en_US
