The state's withdrawal from media ownership has led to new forms of media financing. However, project co-financing serves to "keep the media alive" or to fund media that do not criticise current political and social realities. Project co-fining has become "rewarding" because it eliminates competition and destroys the media market. It turns the media into propaganda services without the right media function, reflected in objective, truthful and timely information. There is a difference between objectivity and credibility of media information. The credibility of media information has its own moral, professional and educational standards. All of these standards are based on media independence from any ideology as well as freedom of thought and expression. The problem, however, is that the work of media outlets has its own economic side, which can question many of these standards. Therefore, such a funding model needs to be established, which will consider credibility standards as the criteria for allocation of funds.en_US
