Continuous processes of development of higher education are often accompanied by factors of sudden phenomena, to which the society is forced to respond. These are unpredictable major events that go beyond the usual and established flows of social life. The pandemic of the COVID 19 virus during 2020 has repeatedly disrupted the planned course of teaching, examination and extracurricular activities at higher education institutions in the Republic of Serbia. At the end of the academic year 2019/2020, тhe conditions were created for us to analyze the manner in which it was performed and brought to an end, with a simultaneous review of the beginning of the new academic year. It seems interesting to present the content of the prescribed new rules, their application and the effects that have been achieved, and finally to propose the idea of introducing a new study model.en_US
