The paper analyzes the legal activity and based on the research, predictions are made on the development and change of the way of providing services through the process of harmonization of the rights of the Republic of Serbia and the system of the European Union. The author starts from the definition of the concept of advocacy as an activity. Through historical development, the importance of the legal profession within the legal system of a country and the role of this activity in society at large is pointed out. Comparative analysis leads to certain general determinants that are common to legal systems. After that, with the focus on the study of general legal acts in the Republic of Serbia, the key documents towards a positive legal definition are analyzed. As a positive legal determination experiences its control of reality through the practical application of what is prescribed, so through the decisions of key subjects, it is positively legally put to the test. Considering that there is a need for corrections in the field of regulation in the Republic of Serbia, the author presents proposals as a form of initial discussion on this occasion. By presenting bold proposals, the author aims at the type of initial hypotheses that should arouse the interest of key actors, which in some way touches on this topic crucially, and indirectly the entire social community. The author also strives to set out through a pragmatic analysis, what would be the aspirations for the best legal rule and positively legally and practically regulate the area of providing the services of a lawyer.en_US
