dc.description.abstractТhe important factor for economic development are the financial markets, which, through a wide network of intermediaries, enable business entities to connect. The most powerful participants in the financial market, in modern business conditions, are investment banks, which stand out from other banks as depository institutions with their business functions. Namely, in addition to the regular banking activity, which involves performing payment services, receiving deposits and granting loans, investment banks also perform operations in the primary and secondary financial markets. The Law on the Capital Market defines these financial institutions as authorized banks, regulating their legal position in the order of the Republic of Serbiaen_US
