dc.description.abstractT he authors discuss the components of successful communication in teaching, as well as the significance of the afore mentioned and its influence on the realization of effective teaching. when it comes to the components of successful communication in teaching, the authors consider the following: careful listening, noticing and commenting on positive features, publicly stating deserved praises (compliments), understanding students’ needs, eliminating fear of possible errors, feedback. modern teaching points out that communication is one of the essential conditions and factors that determine the efficiency of accomplishing the teaching process. Given that the components present an integral part of communication, their study is therefore of great importance for the communication, too. The aim of the research is to determine whether communication components are essential for achieving a quality teaching process based on successful communication between teachers and students. The study included 100 teachers and 111 primary school pupils in bosilegrad, and was carried out during 2015. based on the results of the research we came to the conclusion that both teachers and pupils believe that the components of communication are essential for realizing successful communication, yet teachers are still the ones who ascribe greater importance to them compared to students themselves.en_US
