The author discusses the issue of passenger rights in air transport provided by the regulations of the European Union (EU) and the harmonization of regulations of the Republic of Serbia in this area with EU regulations. These rights are so precisely regulated that today at the EU level we rightly speak of passenger law as a separate and specialized subtype of traffic law. In these regulations special rights are provided for persons with disabilities and persons with reduced mobility as users of air transport services. In order to enable these persons to use air transport services but also airport services EU regulations provide for special obligations for the entity that manages the airport. Also, the EU has provided for a whole range of passenger rights, obligations and responsibilities of airlines in case of denial of the right to board the flight, delay in transport(whether it is a delay or cancellation of flight or delay during the flight), as well as rights passengers or members of their families in the event of death or body injury of passengers. The paper points out that the adopted EU regulations integrate most of the solutions from the relevant international conventions, but also envisage new rights that have not existed so far for passengers, especially not for people with disabilities and people with reduced mobility. The author concludes that all the rights of passengers in air transport provided by the EU are integrated into the relevant regulations of the Republic of Serbia, which means that the regulations of the Republic Serbia in this area are largely in line with EU regulations.en_US
