In contemporary economic literature and practice, we can differentiate a few conceptual forms of capitalism: classic (liberal) capitalism, capitalism of social democracy, family capitalism, profit-oriented neoliberal capitalism, etc. Recent theoretical considerations and empirical research discern two prevailing forms of modern capitalism: liberal-meritocratic capitalism characteristic for Western countries and political (authoritative) capitalism (China, Russia, and some parts of Asia and Africa). Economic development of capitalism and corporate management are mutually connected and intervowen so that sometimes corporate regulations are in service of economic development and investment growth while sometimes the growth itself affects the changes of corporate regulations. The transformation of capitalism influences the transformation of the models of corporate management. Thus, contemporary corporate management is reflected in global management structures.en_US
