dc.description.abstractDigitization in the insurance sector is largely related to technological development and the possibilities of using digital technologies. The speed of development of digital technologies directs insurance companies to find ways to apply them in their activities. The subject of the research also consists in the answer to the disputable questions regarding the blockchain technologies in insurance, smart contracts in insurance and protecting data in order to put a light on significant segments of the digitization in insurance, as well as to propose their further improvements. In the following text, having in mind the complexity of the topic and the limited scope of work, a review will be made of the main specificities of digitization in insurance.en_US
