The focus of this research is on discovering how the hero of Dostoevsky’s novel relates to the idea of Evil in the domains of self-constitution and reflection of reality. Through the interpretation of his discovery of traces of higher-freedom/intelligence/passion, and finally, higher-life in commitment to Evil, we will elaborate on how the potent energy of the destructive frees the being to see different possibilities in the gnoseological search for answers regarding ontological and ontotheological questions. Starting from the idea of constituting the first man out of chaos, one finds a foundation for deliberating over the relationship of the here-and-now being to the existence of Evil in the world. The focal point between them will be represented by a man from the underground who reactivates the original sacredness of Evil by confessing to an event of existence made possible by the existence of drive and (mal)passion within him, all in order to reach the cognition and omnipotence for which the different potentials of Evil open us up. In this context, a different way of establishing value categories will be indicated, considering that Dostoevsky’s work is also seen as a response to the idea of living in Goodness, due to which Evil exists only as a benefit in the name of universal benefaction. Therefore, the analytical interpretation of this work will show a different side of the idea of Evil, which reveals a unique erotic energy of seduction, when published in the language of the underground beings, of the one who linguistically produces the same energy by seducing the reader. In this context, it will be shown how the erotic force from the hero-transgression relationship is discursively transmitted, becoming the force of the relationship between the hero and the reader.en_US
