Work of English author Anthony Burgess has had, in Serbia, echoes not only in literary and scholarly magazines, books and textbooks, which was reported by Dr. Biljana Đorić-Francuski in Nasleđe 6, but also in the SF fandom. Both as the novel, but only the first 20 chapters of it, and as the film Clockwork Orange was received extremely well, as a doubtless and lasting classic of SF, in Serbian fandom; while the twenty-first chapter of the novel, and the book 1985, were noticed in the fandom, but greeted with far lesser enthusiasm.en_US
