dc.description.abstractThe aim of this paper was to investigate and determine statistically significant differences in the attitudes of female students of the Faculty of Education in Jagodina in relation to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their physical activity. The research was transversal and was conducted in the academic year 2022/2023 at the Faculty of Education in Jagodina. The participants of this research were female students of the third and fourth academic year of BA studies, department Class teacher education and the third year students of the department Preschool teacher education. They were divided into two subsamples based on the number of students who were infected with Coronavirus: a subsample of 43 female students who were infected with COVID-19 and a subsample of 57 female students who were not infected. The obtained results were processed with the SPSS program, and the Chi-square test was used to investigate statistically significant differences. The obtained results are presented in the form of a table. The results of the research show that there are statistically significant differences between female students who were infected and female students who were not infected with COVID-19 in relation to the attitude about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Female students who were infected with COVID-19 claim that the pandemic caused the reduction of their physical activity, which was accompanied by pain in the chest when breathing, short breath, pain in the joints and bones, cardiac arrhythmia, rapid fatigue, feeling of weakness and loss of strength, difficulty to get back in shape as well as weight gain.en_US
