The aim of this paper is a new reading of Voja Caric’s poetry within the new aesthetic codes such as the history of art beneath the poets approaches to history of literature and Serbian poetry for children in 50’s. The origin of poets visual elements lies in his inclination towards the two opposite poetic models in modern theory of children’s literature: a new, lyrical mixture between the epic signals, myth and oral tradition on one side and modern temporality based on polyphony on the other side.en_US
