dc.description.abstractAnalyzing D. Crystal’s definitions of discourse, author is adding V. Polovina’s definitions of the same notion in the domain of text­linguistics. The paper brings author’s conclusion that the given notion (and term) should be expanded to the written version of language. The conclusion was brought on the basis of author’s previous research work on the language of Slobodan Selenić’s novel “Očevi i oci”.en_US
