PRAVNI IZAZOVI I PRINCIPI DIGITALNE EKONOMIJE

Abstract

The dominant challenge of the modern age, which society faces, and consequently, law and the economy, is digitization. Today's economic systems are based on the accelerated development and application of information and communication technologies, with which economic flows become digitized, so regulations require changes. In the Republic of Serbia, the development of the digital economy is in progress, which includes the emergence of the digital market, the development of digital platforms and the electronic execution of economic transactions. Such business conditions, significantly changed in relation to traditional ones, change the way social relations are established, and thus require the law to face new challenges and risks. This further implies the construction of an institutional framework for the successful creation of economic systems and the provision of legal security to traffic participants. The subject of the work is to point out the basic stages of the development of the digital economy in Republic of Serbia, the importance of the digital economy and its basic characteristics, while pointing out the dynamism of the changed business conditions.
