Abstract

In this paper, the author will deal with the normative analysis of legal regulations in the sphere of animal welfare protection that were adopted at the local self-government level. In this way, it is necessary to check the constitutionality and legality of the aforementioned legal regulations, as well as the justification for their adoption. Emphasis will be placed on various aspects of this problem - both criminal and civil. Since it is a very complex area that emphasizes the interest and well-being of animals in the foreground, it is necessary to regulate this issue adequately normatively, but also to ensure the conditions for their implementation in practice.
