dc.description.abstractThe sag of the conductor has a great influence on the magnetic field distribution in the vicinity of the overhead lines. The aim of the paper is to analyze the calculation of the magnetic field in the vicinity of overhead power lines, taking into account the conductor sag and the effects of the presence of a conducting ground, using various numerical methods and an analytical approximation method. A comparative analysis was performed in calculating the magnetic field of the 400 kV overhead line at different heights from the ground, for different arrangements of phase conductors and for different spans. The obtained values were compared with the values obtained using a simple two- dimensional model with infinite straight conductors.en_US
