In this paper, we wanted to point out the importance of Pekić's hero as a complex dramatic personality. Presenting the development of 20th century drama, as well as the development of modern Serbian drama, we indicated the changes that took place in the play in order to notice and analyze them on the example of Pekić's play and explain the influence of European drama on Serbian playwrights. Perceiving the relationships of the characters realized through the dialogues, we wanted to explore the complexity of Minos as a dramatic character, then to mark the tendency as the main initiator of the drama and to notice how the drama is concentrated around one character. Considering Minos as a character of ideology, but also as a mythical character, we illuminated Minos as a duality around which the whole dramatic conflict is focused. Explaining the details we noticed in the play about the hero, we examined his identity and talked about his duality, but also about the hero as the embodiment of numerous Pekić's views on the drama and the postmodern era as one that doubts and questions the myth and itself .en_US
