Abstract: The subject of this paper is business tourism in the towns of the Republic of Serbia. Business tourism is one of the oldest forms of tourist travel, which in recent times has become represented in a large number of tourist destinations. Bearing in mind that it is a profitable tourism product, which is not influenced by seasonality, towns are places where this form of tourism develops in various forms. Towns of the Republic of Serbia, such as Belgrade and Novi Sad, are recognizable as business tourism destinations in the Republic of Serbia, while Niš can also be distinguished as a destination that, thanks to a quality tourist offer, can build the image as a business tourism destination. This paper analyzes the potentials of these towns for the business tourism development, which enabled the defining the guidelines for the further development of this form of tourism in the towns of the Republic of Serbia
