Centuries ago, the importance of ethics is evidenced by the works of great philosophers. Its general presence indicates the importance of existence in every society, country and time. In moments when it seemed that ethics was disappearing, it always returned to the big door and was an important topic of the state, society, but also of every healthy individual. It found a special application in the field of rhetoric as an important link between speakers and listeners with the aim of shaping social perception and moral values. This paper highlights the importance of ethics itself for listeners and speakers, with special reference to the ethics of political speakers. The work also aims to develop critical awareness among listeners and explains the importance of implementing ethical standards in the personality of the speaker himself, all with the aim of contributing to a healthier social environment and political order. In addition to the above, the paper will discuss the role of manipulation, as well as the speaker's responsibility towards the audience.en_US
