Joint will represents an instrument for property disposal pertaining to death as an alternative to the traditionally represented classic testament in all modern rights. Considering its specific legal nature as an institution that is between classic testament and inheritance contract, a comparative analysis of joint bequest with other types of inheritance disposal is of particular importance for the development of modern inheritance law. At the same time, the expansion of private law autonomy takes the central place in the current reform of Serbian inheritance law.en_US
