Abstract: | The main goal of this paper is the phenomenological reading of the multifaceted continuity of modern Serbian poetry conceived by Vasko Popa’s stellar poetic system, to which Miljković and Lalić give the answer with their (quiet) star-centrism. In that unconcealed, although perhaps at first glance quiet and unobtrusive, and one of, we think, most intriguingly unread dialogues of Serbian post-war poets, the star as an emblematic code of (post)romanticism, experiences its poetic evolution, which modern Serbian poets follow in an equally complex way as the star we know within its physical, astrological-cosmological, and finally existential-philosophical meaning. The life and death of a star, its fixed or variable features are accompanied by the poetic programs we are talking about. Radial poetics with the same movement of the stars enabled changes in the rhythm of the song marked by a star trail, always between the ode and the requiem. |
