(NE)KULTURNI OBRAZAC NEONACIZAM U KNJIŽEVNOSTI I NASTAVI NA PRIMERU PRIČE „TAMO GDE STANUJU ZMAJEVI“ KLEMENSA MAJERA I ROMANA „KAD SAM S HITLEROM JELA VIŠNJE IZ VIŠNJEVAČE“ MANJE PREKELS

Abstract

The subject of this qualitativ e empirical research is the discovery, categorization and analysis of the cultural interpretative pattern neo-Nazism in the story Where the Dragons live (Wo die Drachen wohnen) by Clemens Mayer and the novel When I ate schnapps cherries with Hitler (Als ich mit Hitler Schnapskirschen aß) by Manja Präkels. This paper is based on the theoretical thoughts of the German culturologist Claus Altmayer, who views cultural studies as a discursive scientific discipline whose priority is to find cultural interpretive patterns in texts (not only literary ones). For teaching purposes in the academic year 2023/2024 in the course of German literature with students of the fourth year of German studies at the Faculty of Philology and Arts of the University of Kragujevac, the acquisition of cultural knowledge about the topological patterns of the FRG, the GDR and the unification of Germany were set, as a prerequisite for understanding texts whose action takes place in this historical period; the acquisition of cultural knowledge about the categorical pattern of neo-Nazism, as well as incentives for social engagement stemming from the reception of literary texts.
