dc.description.abstractThe subject of the paper is the application of one of the corpus platforms for the purpose of improving the digital literacy of secondary school students, on the example of processing teaching content on word polysemy with the help of electronic resources of the Serbian language. The general goal of the paper is to improve the quality of the teaching process of Serbian language and literature. The set goal of the paper is achieved by creating one of the methods that improve the implementation of teaching content in several secondary school subjects. The individual goals are: 1) creating one of the methods for improving the implementation of teaching content in the subject of Serbian language by using the corpus platform ‘Distant Reading’ of the University Library “Svetozar Marković”, shown in the example of processing the teaching unit Polysemy of Words and 2) acquiring digital literacy among high school students. The paper is theoretically based on the philosophical concept of New Literacy Studies, while the flipped classroom model was used as the methodological postulate, and the theoretical and empirical framework of the research has an interdisciplinary character. The initial hypothesis of the paper refers to a more motivated, faster, and longterm adoption of teaching content and the creation of methods for improving the implementation of the teaching process. The conducted research provides a concept for implementing digital competencies, based on the principles of contextualization of the teaching process, student research work, and critical thinking.en_US
