Abstract

The paper discusses the role of the education sector in the Republic of Serbia in the context of the new Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence by 2030. The emergence of artificial intelligence has led to rapid changes in all aspects of social life, both in our country and in the world. In January of this year, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence by 2030, which aims to enable the accelerated development of artificial intelligence in Serbia. Given the undoubted importance of the emergence of artificial intelligence and its impact on a given sphere of activity, as well as the undoubted importance that the successful development of the higher education sector has for our society, it is quite clear that it is necessary to subject the solutions envisaged in this act to a critical analysis.
