From its beginnings as a purely technological innovation, the field of artificial intelligence has increasingly revealed its powerful social influence on society as a whole. The legal domain is not immune to this impact - whether in legal science, legal education, or legal practice. Precisely in those segments of social life where legal rules are created and applied through various procedures and mechanisms, it becomes evident that legal processes are exposed to the effects of artificial intelligence. Its techniques and tools constitute a significant instrument that can support the law’s efforts to make its own processes more efficient and of higher quality, thereby promoting general justice and the fair satisfaction of individual interests. At the same time, artificial intelligence carries high systemic risks with the potential to endanger human rights and core legal values. It is therefore essential to continuously assess the scope of these risks and to develop legal solutions aimed at mitigating them. Within this framework, the paper examines the tension between legal certainty, as a fundamental value of modern legal civilization, and artificial intelligence as a means of enhancing the efficiency of the justice system. In this context, particular attention is devoted to judicial decisions, whose content is expected to reflect the principles of legal certainty - especially regarding the use of artificial intelligence in the functioning and work of judicial authorities.en_US
