| Abstract: | The paper analyzes the broader concept of unauthorized practice of law in the context of the digital age. The thesis is that unauthorized practice of law has a broader connotation and represents a kind of social phenomenon. This phenomenon not only affects the provision of services, but also the broadest cultural patterns. In addition to the range of services that are provided and redefined in the digital age, there are also legal services that are provided in the digital age and redefined. The spectrum of these services is diverse and encompasses various legal fields. The development of artificial intelligence has also increased the spectrum of these services that are available to citizens through various applications. However, the positive law of the Republic of Serbia has limitations when it comes to legal services. Pointing out the connection between legal services that, when performed without authorization, constitute a criminal offense and the phenomenon of unauthorized practice of law as a social phenomenon, it points to the need to redefine observations, change norms and approaches in accordance with future tendencies. |
