dc.description.abstract | The competences of school principals imply characteristics, knowledge and abilities that the principals need in order to optimally achieve the goals of the school set up by the society. A large range of tasks and responsibilities, but also the expectations imposed, make the role of the school principal very challenging and complex. The paper presents the results of a qualitative research on how the principals perceive their competencies in the field of quality development and inclusiveness of the educational process. The results show that principals know their competencies, but their implementation in these areas is focused mainly on very general issues both from the perspective of management and the managerial approach. | en_US |
