PRUŽANjE INTELEKTUALNIH USLUGA SA POSEBNIM OSVRTOM NA USLUGE POSREDOVANjA U OSIGURANjU

Abstract

In this paper the author points to the essential role of providing intellectual services in all fields of activities, given the fact that there is a generally spread paradox “to know everything is to know nothing”. Namely, we live in times when people specialize to perform only certain segments of work, which they execute to perfection. Therefore, in order to avoid mistakes in certain fields one does not know much about, the companies decide to look for certain intellectual cervices. When it comes to the field of insurance, the brokers have become the essential part of the contemporary insurance business and its success is directly connected to their success in providing services. Recently, there has been a growing number of individuals offering such services which resulted in a need to regulate this field, bringing it within legal framework of the Insurance Law. Not only in Serbia, but also in Republic of Srpska this matter has been given a considerable attention, so this entity adopted Law on insurance intermediaries 10 years before Serbia.
