Abstract

Аgreement on transport of passengers is one of the agreements which enables easier and more efficient operation of tourism. The subject of this paper is importance of agreement on transport of passengers in contemporary tourism, basic characteristics of this agreement (definition, sorts, conclusion of agreement, contractual parties), as well as liability of the carrier for delay in transport, and for health damage, injury or death of the passenger. Special attention will be dedicated to the situation when tourist agency, as a travel organizer, assumes the role of the commissioner of the transport. Finally, the author deals with the issue of the transport of carriage.
