Abstract: Mathematical modeling and experimental research of non stationary high dynamic hydraulic processes in the pump cylinder, discharge space and intake and discharge pipe line is the fundamental in developing the piston-axial pumps. This paper presents the results of mathematical modeling and experimental research. Experimental testing was performed in order to determine operating parameters of a modified axial piston water hydraulic pump. The pump was adapted by mounting an intermediate polyetheretherketone (PEEK) platein. Based on the experimental research findings and the results of the mathematical modeling, developing and applicationof the identification method of unknown parameters of a mathematical model, the computer program, which enables sufficiently exact determination of some parameters of working processes of piston axial pumps, has been developed.
