Abstract: A special form of images and speech of The Other is a stereotype. When it involves a negative attitude towards The Other, then prejudice implies judgment, underestimation, hostile attitude and these are most often racial or ethnic prejudices. The stereotype implies that all individuals, members of a group, possess those qualities attributed to the group. The aim of this paper is to present the ways of creating the image of Jews as The Other and different during the time of the Third Reich, as well as the ways in which this image was indoctrinated into society. In this paper we will look at two possible representations of identical image of Jews in anti-Semitic propaganda on the basis of the propaganda films - Süss the Jew by Veit Harlan and The Eternal Jew by Fritz Hippler. We have chosen these two films as a corpus of research because they present stereotypical images of Jews in two very different ways. Süss the Jew is meant to be an entertaining film that subtly warns of the danger of Judaism, while Hippler made his film in the style of a documentary and wanted to prove the worthlessness of Jewish race based on scientific research
