Abstract: The subject of this paper is to analyze the cultural resources of Vrnjačka Banja. The aim of the survey is to determine whether Vrnjačka Banja has a real opportunity to become a destination of cultural tourism. The empirical research is conducted in order to check potential resources for the development of cultural tourism in Vrnjačka Banja. Data were collected from 130 respondents views about and their responses concerning their views about cultural resources of Banja were analyzed. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test showed that the data do not have a normal distribution, and non-parametric tests were applied in order to confirm or reject the proposed hypotheses. Mann-Whitney test and Spearman correlation coefficient were used to establish the relationship between the defined variables. It is determined that culture contributes to the image of the destination, that Spa has cultural and historical sites and that organizes events that may contribute to the development of cultural tourism. Descriptive statistic's analysis determined that the respondents think that the cooperation between the institution of culture and the holders of tourism supply is very important for the development of cultural tourism. On the other hand, by applying non-parametric tests was analyzed wheter there are significant differences between attitudes of the respondents.
