Title: Između antropološkog pesimizma i optimizma u dramama na otvorenom drumu Stiva Tešića i bluz za mesiju Artura Milera
Authors: Arsenijevic, Jelena

Issue Date: 2010
Abstract: Both Tesic's and Miler's drama put in the centre of their interest the same problems: systematic mechanism of exhausting the each individual's creative potential, releasing human being's conscience from the idea to see themselves as essentially free beings, distorting art's sense and misuse of it in various purposes and the political practice which propagates the principle of anthropological pessimism. The Adam Curtis's documentary indicates the institutions and the individuals that calculatedly work on unification of human species in order to use them easier for their aims. As a consequence technologically advanced and emotionally empty man is created, lonely robot or, in Donna Haraway's version, a cyborg.
