In this paper is shown positive effect on the environment obtained by implementation of the CDM project according to Kyoto agreement. In this example of a potential project, positive effect is obtained by increasing energy efficiency in industry by the use of west heat contained in the physical heat of the flue gas and decreasing of heat loss into surroundings. An investor, the industrially developed country with obligation to reduce emission of greenhouse gases obtains certificated emission reduction, and realization of the project that allows increase of energy efficiency, in other words positively influence decline in energy intensity, helps a developing country.en_US
