Abstract: A guided fantasy is a drama technique used to awaken different types of associative experiences in children, thereby encouraging them to visualize the story. Through open-ended questions, the preschool teacher encourages the children to imagine details, which they later describe. The paper uses a descriptive method and content analysis technique. It aims to analyze the examples of guided fantasies and children’s creative storytelling with the purpose of developing a real program in kindergarten. The research tasks include: presenting the guided fantasies of the participants in the research; presenting mutual stories as a product of guided fantasy; conducting a syntactic analysis of mutual stories.
