Authors: | Simonović, Branislav |
Issue Date: | 2023 |
Abstract: | The paper discusses the notions of radicalization, extremism and hate speech as security problems. Normative standards adopted by the UN and the EU are presented, which oblige the states to sanction these phenomena, to prevent them and to suppress them. The practice and normative framework in Serbia, which was created on the basis of international standards, is presented. The general conclusion is: Serbia has adopted international standards and normatively sanctioned phenomena of radicalization that leads to terrorism, extremism and hate speech. The application of those regulations in practice is phallic, insufficient and selective. |
