Abstract: A single administrative place is any related administrative procedure that enables administrative proceedings in paper or electronic form, in the administrative matter of one or more authorities, in order to realize one or more rights, obligations or legal interests of the party (citizens and business entities). The essence of a single administrative center is to be a point of contact, that with one visit, the citizen receives all relevant information at one counter, submits a request, and receives administrative act in the same place in order to exercise his rights. A single administrative office reduces the loss of time and eliminates unnecessary costs for citizens, because in one place they get all the information they need to exercise their rights and protect their legal interests. In the paper, the author analyzes a single administrative center in domestic legislation and in individual members of the European Union (Austria, Hungary and Croatia).
